Commercial Roof Maintenance

Preventative maintenance is a planned maintenance program which is performed on a time and material basis. Preventative maintenance and warranty issues are not the same, warranty issues are considered when there is an installation problem or defect.

We find that most clients who are willing to keep their roofs maintained typically have fewer roof leaks than those who choose not to perform planned maintenance. It is advisable to all Owners to have a semi-annual inspection done on the roof, regardless of age. Many small maintenance issues that cost very little to fix, when left untouched, result in huge repairs. Preventative maintenance will ensure that your roof is functioning properly, fix problems before they start or it's too late and give your roof a longer service life.

It is best to do semi annual inspections on your roof during the late fall and early spring. During preventative maintenance we will inspect your roof surface, roof flashing, roof penetrations and accessories. If we find anything in need of repair, we will do the repair at that time. As an owner, it is your responsibility to keep gutters and downspouts clean and free of leaves and other debris, and keep trees trimmed away from and off the roof.
